Oh, wow … it’s been a looooong time since we’ve posted a recap of Pasco business news. Here’s what we know has been happening recently in the local business scene:

• The Dollar Store on North 20th Avenue will be closing on December 30th. As the Herald reports, the writing was on the wall when a larger Dollar Store opened up a couple years ago on Court Street. The Court St. location is more than twice the size of the 20th Ave. store, which is the smallest one the company owns.
• Dr. Howard Davis has opened a new Western Dental clinic in Pasco. It’s at 3603 W. Court St. Western Dental has more than 200 offices up and down the western U.S.
• The Port of Pasco has come up with a name for its new, 125-acre riverfront business park. It’ll be called Osprey Pointe.
